EDIBLE CINEMA: PERFUME

We returned to Cinemateket in Copenhagen for our second Danish Edible Cinema, following 2016's sold out run of Pan's Labyrinth.
This time we presented a series of snacks and drinks to accompany Tom Tykwer's film adaptation
of Patrick Süskind's cult 1985 novel, 'Perfume: The Story of a Murderer'. Set in 18th century France and starring Ben Whishaw, the film tells the story of a boy whose heightened olfactory sense draws him into the world of perfumery, and ultimately inspires him to go to extreme and gruesome lengths to capture the ultimate expression of the human essence.
